As Emraan Hashmi turns 30, we look at his Bollywood journey!

Emraan made his entry into Bollywood with the film Footpath in 2003. He wasn't in the lead in this film, but he managed to catch the eye of the Bhatts and went on to feature in a number of their movies.

Shortly after Footpath came Murder (2004) opposite Mallika Sherawat. Directed by Anurag Basu and written by Mahesh Bhatt, this was Enraan's first major film. The plot of the film was based largely on the Hollywood flick Unfaithful and it got famous for its six sex scenes.

Also in 2004, Emraan starred opposite Dia Mirza in Tumsa Nahi Dekha. This was his first solo lead in a movie.

In 2005, Emraan collaborated once again with the Bhatts and director Mohit Suri for Zeher where he starred opposite Udita Goswami. Emraan was fast gaining the reputation of a 'serial kisser'!

The year 2005 proved to be productive for Emraan Hashmi as he appeared in a number of flicks. His other movie that year was Aashiq Banaya Apne opposite Tanushree Dutta.

Broadening his scope as an actor, Emraan appeared alongside Arshad Warsi and Irrfan Khan in Chocolate in 2005.

Emraan went back to doing a supporting role to oblige the Bhatts with Kalyug which was directed by Mohit Suri.

After a few duds like Jawani Diwani and Aksar, Emraan's next big movie was Gangster (2006), which was, once agan, produced by the Bhatts. He was starring opposite Kangna Ranaut along with Shiney Ahuja.

Emraan appeared in the little known multi-starrer Good Boy Bad Boy in 2007 along with Tusshar Kapoor.

Firmly established as the blue-eyed boy of Vishesh Films (run by Mukesh and Mahesh Bhatt), Emraan then appeared in Awarapan in 2007 where he was directed once again by Mohit Suri.

Also in 2007, Emraan appeared in Jannat opposite Sonal Chauhan.

Emraan's latest flick is Raaz: The Mystery Continues. Directed by Mohit Suri and produced by the Bhatts, this is one of the year's biggest hits.
