Bollywood's current reigning queen Priyanka Chopra, who is currently shooting for Ashutosh Gowarikar’s What’s Your Raashee?, suddenly fainted while in the middle of a shot. The actress has been busy shooting round the clock, attending events and endorsements, and looking after her parents have all taken a toll on her fitness. Let's look at some celebrity diets.

At home, Kareena Kapoor came under the scanner for her size-zero figure that hit the screens with Tashan. Bebo however, insists that she is not anorexic and merely lost five kgs before the film. She gave up junk food and rice to attain the look.

Aishwarya Rai Bachchan is no fan of diets. She was asked to lose weight for Dhoom 2 and she remembers that as a terrible time in her life. She said, ''It was a painful experience. I had to be 54 kgs and so for a month I was on a strict diet. That was the most painful period for me. And to add to my misery, I had to work out.''

The perfect makeover story was of course Kajol's. After being successful despite a somewhat chubby figure for years, she made a comeback to Bollywood in 2007 a changed person. For Karan Johar's My Name is Khan, Kajol's instructor makes her eat a lot of almonds in her diet apart from the usual care of calories. Kajol has also been hitting the gym to maintain a perfect figure.

One of Bollywood's sexiest women - Bipasha Basu doesn't believe in a strict diet as such, but she eats six egg whites every day, and makes sure she eats at least five small meals in a day. She hits the gym about five times a week.

Though she hit a jackpot with Ghajini, Asin isn't taking it easy. She is currently taking great care to maintain a healthy diet. She is strict with herself and only eats home food and concentrates on a heavy breakfast.

Minissha Lamba has finally overcome her one woe in life - her hips. And how did she achieve this? She says, ''It was very difficult, I had to sweat out a lot in the gym and had to do other exercises too. Moreover, I controlled my diet. I just avoided anything that was fatty. I ate food rich in proteins and vitamins but nothing very fatty as I knew that these fats would get deposited on my body.''

The woman who has been in the news in Hollywood for her great weightloss (roughly 20 kgs) and of course her first Oscar after six nominations is Kate Winslet. She follows the Face Analysis Diet along with regular light exercise. She has stopped any intake of alcohol or processed food.

Friends star Jennifer Aniston follows the Zone Diet which includes a lot of salads and protein heavy meals. She makes sure she maintains a 40-30-30 ratio of carbs to fat to protein.

As was predicted, Angelina Jolie's body reacted strongly to her extreme liquid diet, and the actress fainted on the sets of Salt. Jolie's friends were worried about her diet and the toll it would take on her body a few days ago. Let's look at some celebrity diets.

Desirous of a hot body, men often surpass women in following crazy diets and Shah Rukh is one example. He worked out and dieted a great deal to achieve his six-pack look for Om Shanti Om. He ate boiled pulses and a lot of green veggies and stayed away from a meat-heavy diet. He says he did almost 700 crunches everyday. He said that before the first shot of his six-pack, he didn't even drink water, as that would lead to water-retention and the look would get spoiled.

And then there is of course Aamir Khan and his famous Ghajini look. Satyajit Chaurasia was his trainer and together they achieved the chiseled look in a little over a year. Aamir reportedly 'lived on an egg-white diet' during the Ghajini shoot. There was no sugar, red meat or fried stuff in his meals. He was only allowed food cooked in three spoons of oil.
