Music legends reunite at Newport (8 Images)

The greatest names in music reunited to celebrate 50 years of the legendary Newport Music Festival. Singer-activist Joan Baez who was 18 when she first sang at Newport, came again, sang again and was adored again.

Legendary protest/country singer Arlo Guthrie was also present at the 50th anniversary of Newport.

Pete Seeger, who is a whopping 90 years of age, came and sang at Newport once again. This time he was accompanied by his grandson Tao Rodriguez Seeger.

Apart from all the legends who were present, there was also some young blood. Colin Meloy of the Decemberists also performed at the festival.

Robin Pecknold of Fleet Foxes sang to enthrall the audiences.

Elvis Perkins of Dearland sang at the 20th anniversary of Newport.

Veteran singer Judy Collins, who was present at the 1959 Newport festival and even sang with Joan Baez came back along with her contemporaries to recreate that moment in the history of music.
