Nikhil Advani, who directed Kal Ho Na Ho is almost ready with his second Bollywood offering Salaam-e-Ishq.The movie has a total of eight stars and the story revolves around their love lives.

Roger Nair Productions has acquired Canadian rights to writer/director Mani Ratnam's Guru.The film is rumored to be based on the life of Reliance corporation founder and the richest man of India, late Dhiru Bhai Ambani's life.Roger Nair Productions spokesperson and Kaleidoscope Entertainment Bobby Bedi announced in a press conference that a star studded world premiere of Guru is to be held in Toronto on January 11, 2007.

The craze for Indian films and filmstars in Pakistan was evident after the grand welcome that actor Ajay Devgan got in Karachi.Ajay went to Karachi for the Kara Film Festival where Omkara was screened. Also present at the event were Vishal Bhardwaj, the director of Omkara and Kumar Mangat, the producer of the film and filmmaker Mahesh Bhatt.

One of the most awaited movies of the first half of 2007; Mani Ratnam's Guru will not be dubbed in Telugu. If word is to be believed then the Telugu version will be titled Gurukanth. South based producer Janapriya Prasad has acquired the rights of the Telugu version. Guru stars Abhishek Bachchan, Aishwarya Rai, R Madhavan and Mithun Chakravarthy in pivotal leads.

From Churchgate and Borivali to Bandra, the city witnessed great uproar as the inter-collegiate Bhagam Bhag Treasure Hunt commenced on 17th December, Sunday. The event saw 50 college teams doing “Bhagam Bhag” all the way upto Bandra. The students zipped across the city in their cars and bikes to battle it out during a filmy Treasure Hunt. Each team was given one set of clue chart & a treasure map. They had to solve the clues & use the map as guide.
