Vaada Raha is the story of Duke, a young, successful doctor who is about to tie the knot with the lady of his dreams - Nalini.
His life is the envy of all his friends and his colleagues and he credits hope for all his success. He is on the verge of finalising a house deal for Nalini and himself once they are married, when tragedy strikes him in the guise of an accident.
Post the accident, Duke is a different man. No longer a messiah of hope, he is an irritable, defeated patient who managed to drive away even the few friends who want to stay by his side. Nalini leaves him and the hospital bed becomes his world.
In the midst of this hopeless condition, a young boy called Roshan enters his life. Though he is just a boy, Roshan has a mind and will of his own and he does exactly as he pleases, something that annoys Duke even more and the two clash all the time.
As time moves on, Roshan and Duke learn to appreciate each other. Roshan fills up Duke's day by looking out of the window and telling him all the wonderful goings on in the world outside. No longer confined by the thought of his hospital bed along, Duke loves the descriptions Roshan gives him. All the little boy wants in return is for Duke to take up his cancer research again so he can help save his sister.
As sensation starts coming back to Duke's limbs, he decides to take up Roshan's challenge. When he peeps out of the window for himself for the first time, a shock awaits, facing him with realisations that are the climactic moments of the film.
