Days ago Iranian pop band Barobax slapped a case on the makers of the film alleging that portions of the song Pyaar Ki Pungi is lifted from the title track of their January 2010 album, Soosan Khanoom, registered under the Copyright Act in Canada. Later, Dinesh Vijan, co-producer of the movie, asserted that the song is an original track.
  • 10. On Tuesday, Pakistan banned the film, reportedly for the reference made in the film to Pakistan's spy agency, the ISI. A disappointed Saif said: “"But we didn't want to offend anyone and the heroine of the movie is a Pakistani, though they would be happy about that. We have done the best we could. We don't want to upset Pakistani viewers, they are a large part of our audience.”
