Filmmaker Kunal Kohli's film
Fanaa completed 10 years of its release on May 26 and Kunal shared some anecdotes about the film which you may not know.
Fanaa starred Aamir Khan, now 51, and Kajol, now 41, in the lead roles. In a series of tweets, Kunal revealed several facts about the film.
Did you know that it was Aamir who suggested that Kajol should play the role of Zooni in
Fanaa? Kajol was making her first lead appearance since
Kabhi Khushi Kabhie Gham five years before
Fanaa.
Fanaa was extensively filmed in Poland.
Cinematographer Ravi K Chandran was responsible for the picturesque visuals in the film.
The reason why
Mere Haath Mein had to be reshot.
Aamir heard only two narrations of
Fanaa and agreed to do the film.
