Aamir Khan prepares for his role with night patrolling cops

Aamir Khan sought help from night patrol cops for his role in upcoming dark thriller Talaash.

No wonder they call Aamir Khan Mr Perfectionist. Since his upcoming film co-starring Rani Mukerji and Kareena Kapoor has been mostly shot in the dark, the actor apparently sought help from night patrolling cops to prep for his role.

According to a source from the sets: "Almost all of the major scenes have been shot during the night. Since the shooting would take place after sunset, there would be cops on the sets. Aamir Khan often would chat with them asking details about their work and inquire about the places that they would visit most often."

Another source added: "Night seems to be a key player in the film's storyline. The idea of making this film had also stemmed from an incident involving cops that was witnessed by Zoya Akhtar and Reema Kagti, who then wrote this project."
