A strong supporter of teacher-student classes, Samson said"the good teacher, the guru, is now replaced by notes andcomputer programmes that don't have any energy in them. Theydon't have the energy of love and affection. And this is whatthe film is about."
Expressing happiness over the courts' direction to allowthe screening of the film, she said, "Thankfully for us, theHigh Court and the Supreme Court have voted and passedjudgement for the constitutional right for the freedom ofexpression."
Aarakshan stirred a controversy with many politicalsections up in arms against its release leading to its ban inUttar Pradesh, Andhra Pradesh and Punjab.
