After Bombay Velvet, Karan Johar Wants to Act in Gauri Shinde's Film

Mumbai: Karan Johar, who turned had a full-fledged role in filmmaker Anurag Kashyap's Bombay Velvet, has now expressed his desire to be directed by Gauri Shinde.

In the film, Karan, 42, was seen in negative role as Kaizad Khambatta in the film, which hit theatres on May 15. (Also Read - Bombay Velvet 'Disaster': Dear Box Office, Why You so Cruel?)

Gauri, who has made English Vinglish, starring Sridevi, praised Karan's performance in the film on Twitter:



The Student Of The Year director replied:



Bombay Velvet, starring Ranbir Kapoor and Anushka Sharma, had a slow start with Rs 5.20 crore collection on Day 1.
