Veteran Bollywood stunt director, Veeru Devgn, Ajay Devgn's father has reportedly been admitted to Lilavati Hospital in suburban Bandra in Mumbai after diagnosed with pneumonia.
The senior stunt and action choreographer is said to be stable now.
His publicist confirmed the news and said: "Yes Veeru Devgn is in the hospital but his condition is stable. Request all group members of media and different social media groups to not spread false rumours about his health."
"He was unwell earlier and then he was suffering from pneumonia, following which he was admitted to Lilavati on Thursday," sources said.
Mr Devgn has choreographed fight and action scenes for over 80 Bollywood films.
He has also directed a film,
Hindustan Ki Kasam in 1999, starring Ajay, Amitabh Bachchan, Manisha Koirala and Sushmita Sen.
