It was on an episode of Koffee With Karan that Alia Bhatt made her appreciation for her Student Of The Year co-star Sidharth Malhotra rather evident. Alia had claimed that Sidharth was husband material while Varun Dhawan would make for a good boyfriend.
Wedding bells may be very far away, but something is reportedly finally brewing between Alia and Sidharth or maybe that's just what they'd like us to think. The two were spotted making what looked like a joint return from a getaway, but considering that Sidharth, unlike Varun, doesn't have football or philanthropy to generate a little extra mileage, we're not entirely sure where to draw the line between passion and publicity.
Given Alia's ear-to-ear grin, she certainly seems to be enjoying keeping the media guessing and we have to say she's not the only one.
Playing coy is now clearly passť, as Bollywood's happening young duos seem to have decided to give the media exactly what they want whether romance is truly happening or not - candid photographs vacationing in hotspots across the world and getting to know the significant other's family. Ranveer Singh and Deepika Padukone, we're looking at you! It's a new take perhaps on friends with benefits; in this case the benefits are constant coverage and a way to keep the media constantly hungry for more. So considering Bollywood seems keen to kiss and tell, it looks like the days of being 'just good friends' has run its course. Let's hope Ranbir Kapoor and Katrina Kaif get the memo.
