Ameesha Patel Didn't Stand For Anthem Because of 'Girly Problem'

New Delhi: Actress Ameesha Patel has reacted furiously to TV star Kushal Tandon's charge that she remained seated through the national anthem at a Mumbai movie hall over the weekend. (Also Read: Ameesha Patel Says She Will Never Participate in Bigg Boss)

In a series of angry tweets posted on Monday evening, Ameesha was forced to reveal that she did not stand when the anthem was played because she was menstruating and that she made a hasty escape to the bathroom once the movie started.

It all began when Kushal, who Ameesha described as a 'jackass,' posted this tweet on Saturday.
