Amitabh Bachchan Goes to Cops Over 'Dirty Abusive SMS'

Mumbai: Amitabh Bachchan, who announced earlier on August 31 that his twitter account has been hacked, has now filed a complaint with the police against the "dirty abusive SMS" that he has been receiving for the past one year.

In his letter addressed to the senior police inspector of Juhu police station, the 72-year-old actor requested them to investigate the matter and take action against the perpetrators.

"Through a certain period of time, I have been receiving dirty, filthy, abusive SMS messages on my personal phone. I attach herewith photocopies of my mobile screen containing the content that I speak about," he wrote in a letter to the police.

The actor is an active user of social media and keeps in touch with scores of his fans worldwide. The 72-year-old actor has a Twitter community that's over 16.5 million strong.
