Amitabh Bachchan's New Film Eve to be Shot in Delhi

"I am the creative producer of the film. Tony (the director) is a friend. The cast is yet to be finalised. Only Mr Bachchan has been confirmed. It will be Tony's first Hindi film. It's a social thriller and will be shot in Delhi. The film is based in Delhi. It's a very important film in today's time," said Shoojit Sircar

Actor Amitabh Bachchan is all set to feature in National Award-winning Bengali director Aniruddha Roy Chowdhury's first Hindi film titled Eve. The movie is expected to go on floors early this year in New Delhi, said its creative producer Shoojit Sircar.

"I am the creative producer of the film. Tony (the director) is a friend. The cast is yet to be finalised. Only Mr Bachchan has been confirmed. It will be Tony's first Hindi film. It's a social thriller and will be shot in Delhi," Mr Sircar told IANS.

"The film is based in Delhi. It's a very important film in today's time. The shooting will begin early this year. We are planning to get the film on the floor around February or March," added Mr Sircar. (Also Read: For Amitabh Bachchan, Working With Shoojit Sircar 'Always a Pleasure')

The team will announce the release date of the film soon.

Mr Sircar directed Big B in Piku, which released in 2015.
