The south indian beauty who is currently shooting for Ready with Salman Khan in Thailand, was asked to munch into an insect that was flitting around the trees by her co-star.
According to a source, "Two days ago when the shooting was on, Salman realised a swarm of insects on the barks of the trees. When he checked with the local Thai crew, he was told that they were edible!"
The actor then challenged Asin to try it and even picked one and held it out to her.
The crew members expected her to squeal and run, but the actress took the insect, popped it in her mouth, shrugged and went on to shoot for her scene.
The entire crew, especially Salman besides producers Bhushan Kumar and Rajat Rawail and director Anees Bazmee were left awestruck by her fearless attitude.
When asked about how she could pull that off, Asin said, "It's all in the mind."
