New Delhi: If you are holding your breath for next month's Dishoom, the action film starring Varun Dhawan and John Abraham, here's some trivia to add to your excitement. The helicopter scene in the film - you've seen it in the trailer - cost a reported Rs 3 crores to film, making it the most expensive Bollywood action sequence shot ever.

It is also apparently the longest chase sequence shot in a Hindi film, clocking about 11 to 12 mins. Whoa!

According to a press release, the costs added up because of what it took to film the scene in Morocco. Multiple choppers and trained fighters were used and a part of the crew comprised international artistes. The safety of everyone involved was taken care of by makers.

In Dishoom, Junaid (Varun Dhawan), a local cop in the Emirates, and special task force officer Kabir (John Abraham), embark on a journey to find Viraj, India's top batsman, who is abducted 36 hours before the semi-finals of a tournament.

The film, directed by Varun's brother Rohit Dhawan, also stars Jacqueline Fernandez and Akshaye Khanna. It will release on July 29.
