In the song Priyanka Chopra is seen wearing an edgy costume of rubber and leather studded with LED lights loosely resembling the jacket worn by Amitabh Bachchan for the popular song Saara Zamana.

  • "I had a good experience while doing the song. It was hectic but fun. We had to finish the song in two days I had to shoot for Gunday. I enjoyed doing the song," she said.

  • Asked if she is ok with the tag of an item girl, Priyanka Chopra said, "I think the item girl tag is overdone. It is a guest appearance song I did for Ekta. By calling it that way it sounds a bit cheap. I am satisfied and happy the way the song has come out. I hope people like it," she said.
  • There were reports that Priyanka Chopra had kept a check on the lyrics of the song, considering the hard stance of Censor Board on certification of item songs. "As a team we were aware of the recent happenings so we had decided not to use any such words in the song. It has to be a clean song," she said.
  • "I think we should focus on the laws, protecting women rather than targeting film industry, Bollywood songs, films, books etc," she added. Filmmaker Sanjay Gupta too finds it derogatory to call it a 'item song'.
  • "It is derogatory to call it an item song. One should not call it that way. Its a guest appearance song or a special song," Sanjay Gupta said.
  • "We were clear we wanted a special, guest appearance song in the film. And we wanted a star like Priyanka Chopra," he said.
  • Co-producer Ekta Kapoor also agreed. "We needed a top actress for this song... We are happy Priyanka has lend a fabulous song for the film. She has done a fabulous job with this song. She is a professional actress," she said.
