  • Prolific singer Asha Bhosle and legendary actor Amitabh Bachchan were honoured with the Lifetime Achievement Award at the 10th edition of the Pune International Film Festival which was inaugurated today.

  • Actor Rani Mukherjee was the guest of honour. Her next role is based on the life of a Marathi girl has been shot mostly in Pune. The actor took the audience by surprise by speaking in Marathi.
  • Asha Bhosle sang a couple of lines from her Tamil songs with Ilaiyaraaja joining her. The versatile singer said singing in Tamil was the most difficult challenge for her.
  • 250 films will be screened this year during the festival.
