Big B: Shah Rukh, Salman and Aamir Should Work For Another 100 Years

Mumbai: Actor Amitabh Bachchan said that the three Khans of Bollywood - Salman, Shah Rukh and Aamir, are doing great work and they should continue working for another 100 years.

"They are doing great work. I hope they continue as they are. They should continue (work) for another 100 years," said Mr Bachchan.

"They are inspiring a lot of people. They are a great source of inspiration, joy. I wish them all the best," he added.(Also Read: The Khans Are Turning 50: Katrina Says Passion Keeps Them Going)

Mr Bachchan, who turned 73 on October 11, said that he wants to continue working as long as possible.

"Let me go the way I am going. I don't know what will happen in the future. I would want to continue working as long as I can do," he said.

The actor is quite excited about his new television show Aaj Ki Raat Hai Zindagi.

"It is an interesting, nice show. There are people who do good work, help others, bring a smile on the face of others. I feel that I can also do it through my medium," he said.

Mr Bachchan also said that the cancellation of Pakistani singer Ghulam Ali's concert is a political matter.

"It is a political matter and I am not in politics. So it is not right on my part to say much. The government should come up with rules and one will follow that," he added.

Ghulam Ali's concert in Mumbai was cancelled following threats from the political party Shiv Sena.

Regarding the FTII issue, Mr Bachchan said: "I am not aware about the issue. It is not right to say anything on it."

The students of the Film and Television Institute of India have been protesting for over 120 days against the appointment of television actor and BJP member Gajendra Chauhan as its chairman.
