Big B touched by Kolkata cricket fans' spirit

Megastar Amitabh Bachchan was touched by the way Kolkata fans expressed their love for Saurav Ganguly by playing Ekla Cholo Re during the match between Kolkata Knight Riders and Pune Warriors.

The 69-year-old actor had lent his trademark baritone for famed Rabindrasangeet Ekla Cholo Re for the film Kahaani.

Ganguly played against Kolkata Knight Riders, his former team, for the first time at Eden Garden. Incidentally, it was also the first time in his cricketing career that Ganguly used the visitor's dressing room at Eden Garden.

"In the IPL at Eden garden in Kolkata... divisive emotions .. Ganguly playing in his city for another team PWI. They tell me when Saurav got out and walked back, they played Ekla Cholo re from Kahaani, and the entire stadium joined in and sang."
