Mumbai: The channel on which Bigg Bosss airs has taken the government to court and has won a reprieve- the show will not have to move to 11 pm for now.

Viacom 18, which owns Colors, challenged the government's decision, announced yesterday, to restrict the airing of "adult shows" like Bigg Boss and Rakhi Ka Insaaf (which airs on Imagine) between the hours of 11 pm and 5 am. The Ministry of Information and Broadcasting said it had received many complaints from viewers about abusive and vulgar language.
