Though Farah launched her label way back in 2004 and has around 15 years of experience in this field, this is the first time she has launched her India inspired line.

"Everything has a right time and I feel the occasion of Independence Day was apt for this line. I couldn't have found a better day than this," Farah told IANS after the show late Sunday.

Asked why she chose Deepika as her show stopper, Farah said: "Well she is dusky, she is beautiful and she has sharp Indian features...so I thought she is the best as a show stopper."
