Mumbai: Diwali fever has caught up with Bollywood stars as they gear up to celebrate the festival of lights with their friends and families.

Some of them are planning a traditional celebration with family, while others away on work commitments are missing out on the festivity back home.

"I wanna wish everyone celebrating Diwali anywhere in the world lots of love and togetherness. I miss my family today... thank god I have you guys," tweeted Priyanka Chopra, who is in Los Angeles working on her music album.

Actress Juhi Chawla is all prepared to have a grand traditional celebration with lights and rangoli.

"Having a wonderful festive season... Haapppeeeee Diwali everyone!! Big big smile. Am on my way to the local bazar to buy lights garlands lamps flowers rangolis... So excited about diwali... Hope you are also having fun (sic)," Chawla said.

"May the shagun of the choti divali be with you always," Amitabh Bachchan wrote on his blog.

"May the lights of Diwali lead us to the path of prosperity and progress, peace and love," said lyricist Javed Akhtar.

Actress Raveena Tandon wrote, "How I love this season... twinkling lights, a nip in the air and everyone dressed traditionally, happy and good wishes, such a positive vibe."

National award winning director, Madhur Bhandarkar, wished his fans a prosperous and peaceful Diwali.

"May the Divine Light of Diwali spread into your life peace, prosperity, happiness and good health. Wishing you all a Happy Diwali," he tweeted.

Southern actress Shriya Saran tweeted, "May the festival of lights bring you love happiness success peace laughter and good times! Happy Deepawali."

Tusshar Kapoor posted, "Happy Diwali to my entire twitter family, how is everyone celebrating this year?"

Director-actor Farhan Akhtar, actors Dino Morea and Ayesha Takia also wished their fans Happy Diwali.
