The cast of Finding Fanny, including lead pair Arjun Kapoor and Deepika Padukone, are not 'oddballs' merely onscreen. The effect trickles down to their real life, with actor Arjun Kapoor 'caressing' his way into the movie, as director Homi Adajania states.

Twitter holds testimony to Arjun's indecent proposal to Homi. An image on his twitter account shows both the boys in a tete-a-tete with the former's hand placed subtly on Homi's lap, to which Arjun jokingly refers as a way of cajoling the director to bag the lead role in Finding Fanny.

Arjun posted the image of himself sitting with Homi with pristine blue waters in the background and captioned it "'Awkward' Indecent Proposal...how I actually got @homiadajania to give me finding fanny". Well, 'oddly' enough, the casting director seems to have made the perfect choice of roping in Arjun to play an 'oddball' along with Deepika Padukone, Dimple Kapadia, Naseeruddin Shah and Pankaj Kapur.

And while Arjun made the 'proposal' to Homi in good humour, he says he never mustered the courage to propose the girl he liked during his college days. The 'coy' boy during college days faced disappointment, as the ship had sailed before he could confess his feelings to the girl he was fond of.

Talking about love, actress Deepika says she has never indulged in unrequited love like Arjun or the character of Naseeruddin Shah in Finding Fanny, whose tryst to find his love seems unending. Deepika says she has always been very honest about her feelings as 'you only live once'. (Also read: Deepika Padukone is Still Finding Love, Off-Screen. So She Says)
