Censor beeps dialogue in Rowdy Rathore trailer

Highlights

• The trailer of Rowdy Rathore has not only got an U/A certificate but the censor board has also beeped one of the dialogues of its lead actor Akshay Kumar.
• "There's a beep in the promo which was totally censor board's call. We are happy to make that cut. We have decided to proceed with a beep in the film," Shikha Kapur, senior vice president (Marketing), UTV Motion Pictures, said.
• "I don't think a U/A certificate will make any difference. It's an action film and it is absolutely justified," she added.
• The actioner's trailer was released on Monday and the film's co-producer Shabina Khan said: "I am not sure whether this cut will be in the film or not as it depends on what censor certificate we want for the film."
• Directed by Prabhu Deva, the film features Sonakshi Sinha as the female lead and is scheduled for a June 1 release.
