New Delhi: Vidyut Jammwal's action drama Commando 2: The Black Money Trail, which released last Friday along with Hollywood film Logan, starring Hugh Jackman, collected Rs 1.90 crore at the box office on Wednesday, reported Box Office India. The film current total now stands at Rs 17.44 crore. Box Office India report states that the film continues below par run in its first week. The occupancy is not there to hold the screens on the eight day, after Alia Bhatt and Varun Dhawan's Badrinath Ki Dulhania releases (March 10). Box Office India predicts that the film will filter out in the second week. Here's the business of Commando 2 so far: Friday - Rs 4.25 crore, Saturday - Rs 4 crore, Sunday - Rs 5 crore, Monday - 2.25 crore and Tuesday - Rs 1.90 crore.

Despite being a 'small' film, Box Office India reports that Vidyut's film will beat the lifetime business of Vishal Bhardwaj's Rangoon in just one week. Rangoon, featuring Kangana Ranaut, Shahid Kapoor and Saif Ali Khan failed to mark an impression at the box office despite getting up a thumbs up from Bollywood and critics'.

Vidyut Jammal co-stars Esha Gupta and Adah Sharma in the Deven Bhojani-directed Commando 2. The film is a sequel to Commando: One Man Army which released in 2013. Commando was directed by Dilip Ghosh and featured Puja Chopra opposite Vidyut Jammwal.

Vidyut Jammwal, who debuted in Bollywood with John Abraham's Force in 2011will now be seen in Ajay Devgn and Ilena D' Cruz's Baadshaho, directed by Milan Luthria.
