Bollywood actor Rishi Kapoor requested the organisers of the Indian Premier League to include crickters from Pakistan on their teams. On Tuesday, on the eve of the tenth edition of the series, the
63-year-old actor tweeted: "IPL. You got world players. Afghanistan makes debut. My plea is please consider Pakistani players. Phir match hoga! Hum bade log hain. Please! (sic)" No Pakistani player has played in the Indian Premier League after 2008, the year in which IPL started. Rishi Kapoor recently co-starred with Pakistani actor Fawad Khan in Shakun Batra-directed
Kapoor And Sons, which was produced by Karan Johar.

Meanwhile, Mohammad Nabi and Rashid Khan, cricketers from Afghanistan, will debut in Indian Premier League as part of Sunrisers Hyderabad, whose captain is Australian cricketer David Warner. Their debut match is scheduled for March 5 opposite Virat Kohli-lead Royal Challengers Bangalore in Rajiv Gandhi International Cricket Stadium, Hyderabad.
