- Composer Shekhar Ravjiani said: "We will feel free when we will respect women and there will be no division on the basis of religion."
- For his partner Vishal Dadlani freedom is equivalent to a "sense of responsibility."
- Actors Abhishek Bachchan and Deepika Padukone feel that one feels free when one is allowed to be oneself.

- Deepika said: "Just being able to express yourself without worrying about anything is freedom."
- Senior actor Jackie Shroff feels that people should create space for the freedom fighters, who fought to make the country free.
- "Respect freedom fighters… create space for them in your mind," he said.
