Deepika Padukone finds current IPL theme song 'most catchy'

Deepika Padukone will next be seen in Chennai Express opposite Shah Rukh Khan.

  • Deepika now supports "underdogs" Rajasthan Royals as according to her, they have been "pretty much consistent" in the tourney.
  • "I would say Rajasthan, because Chennai and Mumbai are obvious favourites for a lot of people and Rajasthan are the underdogs and they have been pretty much consistent in the tournament. So it would be Rajasthan," she explained.
  • Daughter of badminton legend Prakash Padukone, the 27-year-old said she had always wanted to be an actor.
  • "I follow badminton, I have been a national level player myself and I played till I was in the 10th standard and then I took a three month break to focus on my boards which in India is a very big deal and after that I somehow never got back.
  • "Somewhere as a child I think I always knew that being in front of the camera and acting is what I always wanted to do," she said.
  • Her next movie is Ayan Mukerji's Yeh Jawaani Hai Deewani and Rohit Shetty's Chennai Express.
