Mumbai:
Filmmaker Apoorva Lakhia said that he is not aware of any recent developments on his upcoming biopic on underworld don Dawood Ibrahim's sister Haseena.
There were reports that Shraddha Kapoor has replaced Sonakshi Sinha to star in the titular role in
Haseena - The Queen of Mumbai. The
Baaghi actress will reportedly use a lot of prosthetics for the role which requires her to age from 20 to 60 years.
Sonakshi had previously stated that she was yet to take a call on the biopic, but according to reports she opted out of the project
due to date issues.
When asked if Shraddha has replaced the
Dabangg actress, Apoorva said, "I know as much as you. I will let you know when I know. I am clueless."
Haseena - The Queen of Mumbai will depict the emotional saga of the underworld don's sister.
Apoorva had previously said the film is on track and everyone in the team has liked the subject.
Shraddha is currently shooting for
Ok Jaanu which is scheduled to release on January 13, 2017.
