- DFI is also hosting a complimentary screening of Jab Tak Hai Jaan for the construction workforce and technicians from the wider community in Qatar. The festival will also feature the 1995 blockbuster Diwale Dulhaniya Le Jayenge, which was produced by Yash Chopra and directed by his son Aditya Chopra.
- The film will be screened as part of the complimentary community screenings at an open-air cinema on November 21.
- David O Russell's Anupam Kher-starrer Silver Linings Playbook will run in the 'Special Screenings' segment.
