Mumbai: Emraan Hashmi is off to London to shoot for his forthcoming film Azhar in which he will play the role of former Indian cricket captain Mohammad Azharuddin.

The 36-year-old actor had trouble adapting to the cold weather of London and is instead looking forward to complete the one-month long shooting schedule in a balmy weather.

The Dirty Picture star took to microblogging site Twitter to talk about the London weather.

Directed by Tony D'Souza and co-produced by Balaji Motion Pictures and MSM Motion Pictures, Azhar is slated for worldwide release on May 13, 2016.

The film will narrate the highs and lows of Azharuddin's life as the captain of the Indian cricket team for most of the 1990s. The movie will also track the story of his life during the match-fixing controversy of 2000, and when he was banned for life. However, later the Andhra Pradesh High Court lifted the ban in 2012.

The film also stars Lara Dutta, Huma Qureshi and Prachi Desai in pivotal roles.
