Anushka will soon be seen on the silver screen in Dil Dhadakne Do
Actress Anushka Sharma will skip promoting her new film at the IPL final in Kolkata tonight after falling ill and being prescribed rest.
A statement from her publicist read: "Anushka Sharma has taken ill suddenly after completing her film promotions today and has been advised by the doctor to rest completely for a day or two as she is exhausted and is showing signs of effects of heat, so that she can resume the promotional activities soon. She regrets she will not be able to travel to Kolkata as planned due to this."
Anushka was to attend the IPL final for Zoya Akhtar's
Dil Dhadakne Do in which she appears as part of an ensemble cast and which releases on June 5.
