From A Bachchan and a Kapoor, Home Truths About Family

Mumbai: We may just have met one dysfunctional family in Dil Dhadakne Do but it seems it's time to hit the road, if not the waves, with another one starring Abhishek Bachchan and Rishi Kapoor, All Is Well. Talking about family, it's not surprising that the famous family members of the star cast were up for discussion. While Abhishek Bachchan and Rishi Kapoor may be used to it, Supriya Pathak, who has stepped in to replace Smriti Irani in the film, not so much. When asked about the preparations for Shahid's wedding next week, Supriya Pathak said and we quote:

"As per your questions of Shahid's marriage, there are lots of things happening but it's like a normal wedding house, I suppose."

Abhishek Bachchan and Rishi Kapoor play a father and son in the film and it wasn't surprising that their off-screen relationships with their actual father and son was a source of great interest. Abhishek said of his relationship with the senior Bachchan, "He treats me like his friend. He taught me in my childhood that his (Amitabh's) father had taught him that when a son starts wearing your shoes he stops being a son, he becomes a friend. He is very supporting and whatever I do he might have a difference of opinion. He still gives me the opportunity to explain if I chose something and he trusts me so no, we haven't had any disagreement."

To which Rishi Kapoor, when asked about differences with Ranbir, quipped, "I have never agreed only."

Yes, it looks like it was certainly an evening of home truths from Bollywood's most famous families.
