From Bareilly to Bollywood, Priyanka Chopra never thought life would be so good
Slim, svelte, in high heels, tights pants and a white top, Priyanka Chopra has plenty to sing about
Priyanka Chopra looks every inch the rock chick as she readies to take stage as one of the featured artists on the Thursday night kick-off of the National Football League- a feat no Indian has achieved yet. The actress will unveil her first music single, In My City, featuring rapper Will.i.am, as the theme for the big night of world's biggest league for American football.

Slim, svelte, in uber high heels, tights pants and a white top, the actress has plenty to sing about. The excited actress says,"Well I hope it all goes well.. its' a huge honour for me and am glad I have made my country proud".

With Barfi all set to release next weekend, the actress who has been juggling promotions as well as her singing commitments, says her role as Jhilmil is special. Playing a challenged girl was difficult and she went through her own drill preparing for the same.

Director Anurag Basu, who was adamant that she and no-one else would play Jhilmil, apparently told her that she would have to shed her uber chick image to act convincingly and Priyanka now feels she managed to do just that.

If you are wondering how this driven actress packs in so much in just 24 hours, the response is simple," I am a girl who came from Bareilly, then Boston and now Bollywood. The world is my oyster and I can be anybody I want to be. Who thought a budding engineer would be a movie star. I never expected life to be this good. I love what I do and am blessed I can do all that."

So what next for the multi-talented actress-cum singer. "Wait and watch is her response." We will do just that Priyanka!
