Hamari Adhuri Kahani chronicles the emotionally riveting love story of the lead characters in the film, played by Vidya Balan and Emraan Hashmi. The song, revolving aound the tale of two broken hearts, is sung by Arijit Singh and composed by Jeet Gannguli.
The song captures a myriad of emotions including love, joy and betrayal.
Hamari Adhuri Kahani is based on the love story of Mahesh Bhatt's parents - Nanabhai Bhatt, Shirin Mohammad Ali and his stepmother. While Vidya and Rajkummar Rao play a married couple, Emraan plays Vidya's love interest in the film.
Emraan Hashmi and Vidya Balan will be seen together for the third time after
Dirty Picture and
Ghanchakkar.
Hamari Adhuri Kahani is set to release on June 12.
