New Delhi: Actress Alia Bhatt said that she will never wear the director's hat for any project.

Alia, daughter of filmmaker Mahesh Bhatt and actress Soni Razdan, added that she can take up filmmaking as a producer, but never as a director.

"Maybe, I can produce films one day but I don't think I can ever be a director because being a director takes a lot. I don't think I have that capability," Alia told IANS in a telephonic interview.

Since her debut film Student of the Year in 2012, she has done films like Highway, 2 States, Humpty Sharma Ki Dulhania, Kapoor and Sons and Udta Punjab.

When Alia was asked if she takes any guidance from her family, she said: "While making the film, no advice comes from my parents. All advice comes from my director."

Alia Bhatt will be seen next in director Gauri Shinde's Dear Zindagi, co-starring Shah Rukh Khan. The film will release on November 25.
