Hrithik's Friday Night Frantic Rush To Mumbai!

Hrithik's Friday Night Frantic Rush To Mumbai!

Highlights

  • Hrithik Roshan has been pushing himself to limits during the last few days and admits he needs a break. You could say it's long 'Diu'.
  • Last Friday, the actor frantically scuttled between the small island of Diu in Gujarat, where Agneepath is being shot, and Mumbai where he is shooting for a dance reality show.
  • With no connecting flights between Diu and Mumbai at a suitable time, Hrithik on Friday flew in a chartered plane to shoot the whole night for the dance show before returning to Diu to resume the shooting of Agneepath the next morning.
  • Not the best way to focus on work, especially for a perfectionist like Hrithik. The actor, who likes to focus ferociously on whatever he's doing, is currently going through the most demanding work schedule in his career.
  • Apparently, neither Hrithik nor his director Karan are too happy with his moving back and forth.
  • Says a source: "Both Hrithik and the director are equally stressed about the interruptions in the dramatic and tense climax. The entire unit of Agneepath has been shooting on a set specially erected by Sabu Cyril since the beginning of June."
  • "Diu is a sensitive area. There is an airbase nearby. Permission to shoot has been attained after much effort. Hrithik is not happy leaving behind the shooting. His commitment to the dance show is breaking the rhythm on the location in Diu."
  • Says Hrithik: "Well, as much as we tried we couldn't adjust the dates, so I'm virtually working like a machine between 'Just Dance' and the Agneepath climax shoot, without breaks or any respite!"
  • He is exhausted, but determined to see the impossible schedule through.
  • "It's like doing three films at the same time! But as long as my day is filled with good work, I am ready to take on even more," says the superstar.
  • Hrithik had to forgo a trip to Toronto for an international awards function. "I think my first day off now would be in October. And boy, am I looking forward to that! I guess you've to be distanced from paradise to really understand what paradise means."
