Director Imtiaz Ali, whose
Tamasha heroine Deepika Padukone also features in
Bajirao Mastani, said that he has immense respect for Sanjay Leela Bhansali, who has directed the upcoming period drama.
During a train journey from Mumbai to Delhi, Imtiaz told IANS: "My name being taken in the same sentence with Sanjay Leela Bhansali is a big compliment to me. I respect that man, I respect him as a director hugely, and I loved the trailer of
Bajirao Mastani. I really look forward to what he is doing." (Also Read:

Deepika stars with Ranbir Kapoor in
Tamasha and with Ranveer Singh in
Bajirao Mastani, which also stars Priyanka Chopra.
Tamasha opens on November 27, while
Bajirao Mastani with hit the screens on December 18.
Deepika has earlier worked with Mr Bhansali and Ranveer in
Goliyon Ki Raasleela Ram-Leela and with Imtiaz in
Love Aaj Kal. She was also Ranbir's co-star in
Yeh Jawaani Hai Deewani and
Bachna Ae Haseeno.
