  • "In that film (Ajab...), Katrina (Kaif) was a big fan of Salman and an incident happens where Salman comes in front of her. In this film, Shahid has been shown as a big fan of film stars, particularly Salman, one of the most happening stars today.
  • "So it is just a co-incidence, not because of the lucky mascot thing," he added.
  • However, Santoshi says if Phata Poster Nikla Hero works, then he will definitely start calling Salman his lucky mascot.
  • "I wish it happens, success repeats itself. Then third time I will definitely go to Salman saying that you are lucky for me, come in my film and do a scene," he said.
  • Phata Poster Nikhla Hero stars Shahid Kapoor in the lead besides Ileana D'Cruz. The film hits theatres on August 23.
