John Abraham: Shoojit Sircar and me have blind faith in one another

John Abraham reveals he is making a lot of films with Shoojit Sircar

  • Vicky Donor was recently named for three National Awards - Best Popular Film providing Wholesome Entertainment and Best supporting actor and actress for Annu Kapoor and Dolly Ahluwalia, respectively.
  • John is honoured with the recognition and hopes to repeat it with his next production Madras Cafe. "I am honoured because at the end of the day I am an Indian and I am honoured to get not one but three National Awards for my first film. I hope to repeat the same performance with my next production Madras Cafe," John said. Talking about Madras Cafe, John said it has turned out really well.
  • "In terms of awards, we would love to put that up for awards as well because it has turned out to be great. People who have seen it have loved it and said that they have seen such a film in India for the first time. We as Indians should feel proud of a film like that," John, who plays an army officer in the movie, said.
  • Madras Cafe, a political thriller, also stars Nargis Fakhri and is slated for an August 30 release.
