Former couple Kareena and Shahid Kapoor have no scenes together in new film
Udta Punjab but
jab they
met at the launch of the trailer in Mumbai on April 16, they were asked what it was like filming together again. Kareena's response was the quote of the day.
More accurately, they were NOT asked - the question was generally put to the cast and Shahid prompted, "There are four actors in the film, who are you asking?" It appeared everyone knew only too well who the question was directed at.
"How can we talk about what hasn't happened?," Shahid, dressed in an
Udta Punjab logo tee and denims, retorted. (Also Read:

He was instantly backed by this epic one-liner from Kareena: "And the DVD of
Jab We Met is always available."
Kareena and Shahid, who also made films like
36 China Town and
Fida together, dated for a while and are now married to other people - Kareena married actor Saif Ali Khan in 2012 and Shahid married Mira Rajput last year. He confirmed that they are expecting their first child.
Kareena and Shahid's
Udta Punjab deals with drug abuse in Punjab, co-stars Alia Bhatt and Diljit Dosanjh, and releases on June 17. And for anybody expecting a sequel to
Jab We Met - don't hold your breath.
