New Delhi: Bollywood actress Katrina Kaif said that she and Ranbir Kapoor have not re-shot any of the scenes of their movie Jagga Jasoos, which has been in the news for getting delayed.

The 32-year-old actress said that a very large portion of the film has been completed and they are left with only some "complex sequences".

"No we didn't re-shoot anything. I wish. Because if we were re-shooting, we would at least be shooting something. A very large portion of the film is complete but there are some slightly complex sequences which are left. It's a very brave film. We have tried a lot of new things in the film, and to do that I think it takes time," Katrina told PTI.

Jagga Jasoos has been directed by Anurag Basu. The film was supposed to release last year but got delayed. It tells the story of a young detective, who is in search of his father. (Also Read: Why the Ranbir Kapoor, Katrina Kaif Romance Won't Help Jagga Jasoos )

Katrina said that Mr Basu is an "indulgent filmmaker" who does not live under any pressure- something which she respects a lot in the director.

"Anurag Basu is one of those directors who doesn't live under the pressure of time or restrictions which all of us abide by in the film industry. He is like a true wandering artist. He wants to make the movie according to his time and he is not going to put under pressure by anyone," said Katrina.

"He just wants to live with his script, nurture and blossom it. I have got a lot of respect for that because you can see his passion for films. He is a very indulgent filmmaker," added Katrina.

The Bang Bang! actress will be seen next in the Kabir Khan-directed Phantom, opposite Saif Ali Khan. Phantom released on August 28.
