She may be one of the biggest stars in Bollywood but even Katrina Kaif has to try hard when it comes to convincing her family that she is indeed huge in the Indian film industry.

It actually took a Madame Tussaud's wax statue to convince her family. In an interview, while promoting a brand of cosmetics recently in Mumbai, Katrina had this to say: "It was only after I got my own statue at Madame Tussaud's that my family decided to take my star status seriously. They were all kidding of course but it took a wax statue placed next to the one of Justin Bieber at the museum for them to take me seriously."

Katrina unveiled her replica on March 27 in London. While she has not been seen on the silver screen for a while, the actress has been working on Abhishek Kapoor's Fitoor for some time now. The red hair she has been sporting lately is a part of the preparation for her role in the film.

"At first, I was very excited about the red hair when Abhishek asked me to colour it for the film but now, like a kid, my excitement has died down," said Katrina.

We don't know what partner Ranbir Kapoor has to say about her new look but he must sure be having great expectations from Katrina's next.
