- Janmashtami is celebrated as the birthday of Lord Krishna and it falls Aug 10 this year.
- "Schools across the states have started doing block bookings of the shows for their students. Even corporate, social groups and clubs in various cities across the country have done block bookings for their employees and members. Also, religious organisations have made bulk bookings," Ashish said.
- Positioned as India's first animated family entertainer, Krishna aur Kans is set to appeal kids along with their parents and grandparents.
- The songs of the film are composed by Shantanu Moitra, with lyrics by Swanand Kirkire and sung by Sonu Nigam, Shreya Ghoshal and Sunidhi Chauhan.
- Actors like Juhi Chawla, Manoj Bajpayee, Om Puri, Anupam Kher, A.K. Hangal and Mukesh Khanna have lent their voices to the characters in the film.
- The film, director by Vikram Veturi, has seen 1,200 artists working over five years.
