The Tusshar Kapoor and Riteish Deshmukh starrer Kyaa Super Kool Hain Hum seems to be too obscene for some countries.
The makers of Kyaa Super Kool Hain Hum may be rejoicing as their film did a good business of Rs 29 crore in India, despite negative reviews and the distasteful content of the film. But here's a piece of news that can spoil the party for producer of the film Ekta Kapoor and director Sachin Yardi.
According to sources, the movie seems to be proving objectionable for some countries. In fact, Muscat and Kuwait, the places that are considered as big markets for Bollywood films, have banned the film for its sexual content. "Yes, it's come as quite a shocker. We were told that the film has been banned in Muscat and Kuwait," said Tusshar Kapoor in an interview to a daily.
This news hasn't gone down well with Ekta either, especially since she reportedly was keen to make a third edition of the sex comedy called Kyaa Super Duper Kool Hain Hum.
The ban on the movie in the Gulf countries might actually be a blessing in disguise. We hope that at least now Balaji Motion Pictures will drop the plan of making yet another entertainer filled with sad jokes and double meanings!
