Kareena Kapoor went all coy at the launch of the first trailer of Heroine
last evening. Asked by the press to end the suspense about her wedding date, Bebo said she would leave it to fiancé Saif Ali Khan.
"We should just wait for Saif to give an official announcement on the date. Right now I am focusing on my film," said Kareena.
She did say, though, that she "intends to work for a very long time." That ought to keep her fans happy, amid reports of Kareena being dropped from Ram Leela
, Chennai Express
and Dharma Productions' next film.
Saif Ali Khan said in an earlier interview
that he will confirm the date in two months. "I can't confirm the date right now. Probably a couple of months down the line, I would speak to you about it. Right now it's only Cocktail
, and I want to keep my professional and personal life separate," he said.
Saif and Kareena have been dating for the past five years and their wedding date had been confirmed as October 16 by Saif's mother Sharmila Tagore.
Kareena told NDTV in February that there would be "no marriage till the end of the year".
Now, looks like we'll have to wait for Saif to say when.
