"I was always in the right place at the right time, always willing to take advantage of an opportunity," intones Randeep Hooda as serial killer Charles Shobhraj in the trailer of
Main Aur Charles, released on Wednesday.
The two-minute-long clip describes Mr Sobhraj with epithets like "manipulative, intelligent and hypnotic", who assumes multiple identities to escape the clutches of the law.
The 39-year-old-actor gets into the skin of the character with ease, looking the part in a flat cap, oversized shades, a two-piece suit and a tie. He mouths the words: "It is good to be evil." (Also Read:

The movie tracks the story of the now-incarcerated Charles Sobhraj's life. His nemesis, police officer Amod Kanth, played by Adil Hussain, also features in a significant portion of the trailer.
The biopic, which is set in the late '70s, will be Randeep's first movie after
Highway in 2014. The movie also stars Richa Chadha and Tisca Chopra in key roles.
