New Delhi: Bollywood actors Manoj Bajpayee and Raveena Tandon featured in a short film Jai Hind, through which they paid homage to freedom fighters.

The film, which released online on August 13, features Manoj and Raveena, who ask viewers to join the social media movement 'Azaadi4Me'. The film is an initiative by a technology driven network of hotels.

Shot in the backdrop of present-day Mumbai, Jai Hind aims to serve as a powerful reminder of what daily life would have been if India had not been an independent nation.

Manoj, who is a critically acclaimed actor, said that the project is close to his heart. "As an artist, to encapsulate such a powerful message in such a short format is both challenging and exciting. It's a pragmatic film with a strong social message that I believe will force the audience to stop, step back and introspect," Manoj said in a statement.

He also enjoyed working with Raveena, with whom he has worked in films like Aks and Shool. (Also Read: Manoj Bajpayee Believes In Healthy Life, Exercises Daily )

"It gives the audience a new perspective on the freedom they enjoy. As a proud Indian, this film serves as a powerful reminder of how lucky we are to be part of an independent and democratic India," said Raveena.

"Working on the set with Manoj and the crew was very exciting. It was truly one of the most cherished experiences of my life," she added.
